Templates
A template decides how your resume is typeset: its fonts, layout, and spacing. Rasumi ships three, and switching between them re-renders the same content instantly.
#The three templates
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
Classicrequired | classic | Serif, single column, traditional. The default, and a safe choice for most roles. |
Modernoptional | modern | Sans-serif with an accent colour. Cleaner and a little more contemporary. |
Compactoptional | compact | A dense two-column layout that fits more on the page. |
#Switching templates
Open the template selector in the editor toolbar and choose one. The live preview re-typesets your resume in the new template right away, so you can flip through all three and compare them against your actual content before deciding.
#Templates never touch your words
This is the whole point of separating content from presentation. When you switch templates, nothing in your document changes, the same name, the same bullets, the same dates get laid out differently. Pick the look that suits the application without rewriting a thing.
