Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rasumi resume-building application and related website (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Rasumi (“Rasumi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts

Certain features may require you to sign in using a third-party authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your Content

You retain all rights in the resume content and other materials you create using the Service (“Your Content”). Your resume content is stored on our servers under your account so it is available across your devices; you remain solely responsible for exporting and retaining any copies you wish to keep. You represent that you have all rights necessary to use Your Content and that it does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by law;
  • use the Service to transmit malicious code or to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; or
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service to create fraudulent or misleading documents.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, templates, and branding (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google and Supabase, for authentication and infrastructure. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and disclaim liability arising from their use.

7. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an ongoing basis but may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL RASUMI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rasumi and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction for the resolution of any dispute arising out of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
